HeForShe Arts Week London is a global festival for gender equality launching on 8 March, International Women's Day in London. Formed from a collective passion to nurture people's mental and physical wellbeing, Happy & Wild have curated a day dedicated to supporting everyone equally.
The day will include meditation workshops by Happy Heads: Meditation coach & EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) practitioner, teaching simple mindful tools and techniques to empower everyone to live a happier, calmer and stress free life.
Wild Thing Yoga will be guiding you through a vinyasa flow style of yoga; synchronising breath with movement in an explorative sequence of heart opening releasing postures, set to an uplifting playlist curated by DJ Blonde Ambition.
OAT KITCHEN will ensure you're kept fully nourished with their delicious food, with a selection of other health concious brands offer you healthy snacks and drinks throughout, you'll have the chance to meet new people, learn about equality, make the change & feel truly restored by the day.
Happy Heads will guide you through an empowering workshop using Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as tapping). EFT is a non invasive form of acupuncture and a fantastic tool releasing your negative blockages. Combined with guided meditation for the session is an effective way to transform your mind.
There will be an inspiring talk addressing the importance of equality in todays society with special guest speakers; Kirsti & Carrie Anne from GRL PWR GANG, Sammy Andrews & Lena De Casparis, Culture Director of ELLE, hosted by Benjamin Brooks-Dutton, author of Sunday Times Bestseller ‘It’s Not Raining Daddy, It’s Happy’ & award winning blog ‘Life As A Widower’.
The afternoon will comprise of a second meditation workshop leading into to an special yoga flow with gong bath by Rachael Welford - Welford Wellbeing to close the magical day.
The day will run from 10am until 7.30pm at The Yard in the heart of Shoreditch.
The space will be designed by The House Of Boheme, who invites you to step into a peaceful sanctuary, creating harmony between body, mind and soul.
